Hey everyone! We've created this team to walk in this years Melanoma March for my beautiful Mum Amanda battling Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. 

After finding a spot on her back in 2017 they caught it early and we thought we thought we were in the clear! But in 2018 melanoma presented in the lymph nodes and triggered an autoimmune disease Dermatomyositis, this caused complications to receiving regular treatment. 

Over the years it has spread to lungs, liver, central lymph nodes, breast and more recently at the beginning of this year she underwent brain surgery to remove a tumour on the base of her brain. Following her recovery we found out that the tumours in her breast are not responding to treatment. 

We hope to make a difference in this years Melanoma March by fundraising for a world-first immunotherapy clinical trial. Fundraising for this trial supports 50% of people including my strong Mum who have melanomas that are unresponsive to treatment. Raising funds to support the wonderful and hardworking people at the Melanoma Institute Australia supports saving Australian's lives including my Mum!
